About This Partnership

As part of Zepp Health's sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) drive, the company and its smart wearables brand Amazfit are honored to partner with Coral Guardian.

Founded in 2012 by Martin Colognoli and his associate, Coral Guardian is a non-profit organization whose mission is to protect and restore coral ecosystems, with recent projects in the Sea of Flores, Indonesia, and the Mediterranean Sea, Spain.

The organization protects coral ecosystems by restoring damaged coral reefs and raising awareness among the local populations of these areas, as well as the general public. Their integrated approach to coral restoration and protection is divided into three main categories:

1. Enhancement and conservation of marine ecosystems for the communities that depend on them.

2. Raising awareness across the maximum number of people.

3. Scientific research.

With bases in France, Indonesia and Spain, Coral Guardian has thus far reached many milestones, including planting more than 56,000 corals, raising awareness amongst 106 million people in 11 years, and promoting sustainable management of marine ecosystems, with the communities living close its project site in Indonesia.

The partnership between Zepp Health and Coral Guardian celebrates the launch of the Amazfit T-Rex 2 Ocean Blue (Special Edition), and will see $10 USD from every sale of this smartwatch go towards supporting Coral Guardian's restoration project in the Hatamin Marine Protected Area in Indonesia.
